Tender description

The scope of the contract is for the design, supply of material, manufacture, assembly, test, delivery and installation of a heavy-duty polycrystalline (powder) diffractometer. The diffractometer basically consists of 3 large coaxial rotary tables of high-precision motions. Technical details are provided in our technical specification. Equipment deliverables: 1) The diffractometer and diffractometer Table; 2) All cabling and connections to DLS services as defined in this document; 3) Installation of the system at DLS, as specified in Section 8 of our technical specification; 4) Sufficient spare parts with long delivery times to guarantee operation of the system with minimum down-time for a period of at least 2 years from the date of final acceptance.
