The Specialist Vehicle Framework intends to cover the purchase, hire and lease of vehicles from 3,5 tonne and over including but not limited to: — refuse collection vehicles, — sweepers — midi, midi and chassis mounted cleaning units, — gully emptiers, — winter maintenance vehicles, — mini buses, coaches, double decked, articulated and low floor buses, — customised commercial vehicles and bodywork new, upgraded and refurbished, — chassis and cab only, — alternative fuel vehicles, — tractor units with 5th wheel, — trailer units for connection to 5th wheel, — access platforms, — tippers, — pumping appliances, — aerial appliances, — lease of specialist vehicles, — hire of specialist vehicles, — supply/conversion of accident and emergency vehicles, — provision of leases finance of ambulance vehicles, — service provision of waste and recycling, collections and/or street. The Specialist Vehicle Framework intends to cover the purchase, hire and lease of vehicles from 3,5 tonne and over including but not limited to: — lot 1 — refuse collection vehicles — up to 18 tonne GVW in weight, — lot 2 — refuse collection vehicles — over 18 tonne GVW in weight, — lot 3 — sweepers – midi, midi and chassis mounted cleaning units (all driven), — lot 4 — gully emptiers, — lot 5 — winter maintenance vehicles (van, rigid and multi-use driven chassis), — lot 6 — mini buses, coaches, double decked, articulated and low floor buses, — lot 7 — customised commercial vehicles and bodywork (e.g. mobile libraries, mobile IT classrooms) new, upgraded and refurbished, — lot 8 — chassis and cab only — up to 18 tonne GVW in weight, — lot 9 — chassis and cab only — over 18 tonne GVW in weight, — lot 10 — alternative fuel vehicles — biodiesel, electric hybrid, ethanol. Hydrogen fuel cell natural gas and propane vehicles, — lot 11 — tractor units with 5th wheel, — lot 12 — trailer units for connection to 5th wheel, — lot 13 — access platforms, — lot 14 — tippers — up to 44 tonne GVW in weight, — lot 15 — pumping appliances, — lot 16 — aerial appliances, — lot 17 — lease of specialist vehicles, — lot 18 — hire of specialist vehicles (with or without driver), — lot 19 — supply/conversion of accident and emergency vehicles — box body construction, van conversion construction, other specialist vehicles and vehicle refurbishment and/or body remounts, — lot 20 — provision of leases finance of ambulance vehicles, — lot 21 — service provision of waste and recycling, collections and/or street cleansing consisting of: —— the treatment and disposal of residual waste, —— the management of waste transfer stations and household waste recycling services and —— processing of a range of recyclables materials and other associated services.
