SSE PLC is seeking to go to market for the provision of public cloud services IaaS/PaaS for their full infrastructure requirements as it embarks on accelerating its journey onto the cloud through it’s “Future of IT” programme. To achieve these outcomes, the Authority wishes to explore options for entering into a public cloud services Framework Agreement with suitable suppliers to help continue its the transition of it’s infrastructure onto the cloud. The The initial stage will be the Pre-Qualifying Questionnaire (“PQQ”). Qualifying bidders of the PQQ will then be invited to responded to and RFP. Following completion of the RFP, it is anticipated SSE will appoint at least 2 suppliers onto a no commitment Framework Agreement.
