Tender description
Contract for the deposit and transfer of household residual waste via Kendal Fell transfer station. During normal operations the contractor will assist Renewi Cumbria Ltd with the transfer of residual municipal waste (waste collected on behalf of the District) to ensure the environmental permit and planning conditions are complied with and amenity issues are minimised. Tenderers are invited to bid for providing a service to receive all waste specified above. There may be a possibility that the range of materials collected separately at kerbside may need to be expand during the contract period, due to legislative changes. These additional materials may include textiles, small domestic appliances (WEEE) and separately collected food waste.
