1 Background/Introduction Ultrabeam have been in business for 10 months and specialise in providing high resolution 3D sonar and laser marine asset surveys. Procurement of these goods and services is part of a ERDF grant funded application process and therefore subject to grant approval of the project as a whole. We will compare tenders received on a compliance basis only. 2 Project Specifications This tender is to provide an ultra short base line (USBL) positioning system that includes the further operational required extras of 3 x USBL beacons, two USBL beacon chargers, 30m deck cable and 8m deck cable. The USBL will be used in a custom R&D application so must conform to the following specification to meet the high accuracy requirements of this project. USBL System: • 0.2% slant range accuracy when optimised • 1000m tracking range • 3Hz target position update rate • True simultaneous tracking of up to 10 targets • Better than 15mm range precision • Ability to send and receive 6G Wideband V2+ channels USBL Beacons: • 1000m depth rating • 19-34kHz operating frequency • Omni-directional • +/-0.5% full scale depth sensor • Transmit and receive 6G Wideband V2+ channels • PLEASE COMPLETE THE COMPLIANCY MATRIX AT ANNEX 1 as part of your tender response 3 ITT Timetable The anticipated timetable for submission of the tender and commission milestones are set out below: Activity Date Date ITT available on Contracts Finder 1 March 2019 Last date for raising queries 12 March 2019 Last date for clarifications to queries 16 March 2019 Deadline to return ITT 18 March 2019 Evaluation of ITT 21 March 2019 Award of Contract This is subject to successfully obtaining grant funding and will normally be no later than 90 days from contract evaluation
