Tender description

Helse Vest [the Western Norway Regional Health Authority] intends to enter into a Framework Agreement for Transport containers for tissue samples filled with formalin. The procurement is divided into 2 different lots: 1) Sample containers for tissue samples, volume approx. 30 ml, prefilled with formalin; 2) Sample containers for tissue samples, volume approx. 350 ml, prefilled with formalin. Tender offers can be submitted for 1 or both of the lots. Contract duration: 2 years with the possibility of extending for 1 year + 1 year. The estimated value is between 2 200 000 and 2 500 000 NOK over a 4 year period, excluding VAT. Lot 1 has a significantly larger value than Lot 2. NB: The Contracting Authority is not bound by the estimated volume in the price form and the estimated value. Lot 1: Sample containers for tissue samples, prefilled with formalin, approx. 30 mL, accounts for approx. 85 % of the total contract value. NB: It may be necessary to purchase large quantities of this container in the first year, to reduce the volume in the following year. The estimated annual volume provided in Annex 1, Price form, accounts for an average per year of the anticipated need during the contract period of 4 years. Lot 2: Sample containers for tissue samples, prefilled with formalin, approx. 350 ml, accounts for approx. 15 % of the total contract value.
