Innovating for Growth Scaleups Programme

Tender description

The British Library’s Business & IP Centre is designed to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and entrepreneurs from that first spark of inspiration to successfully launching and growing a business. With funding support from the European Regional Development Fund, the Centre launched the ‘Innovating for Growth’ programme in late 2011 to focus on providing support to growth businesses, as opposed to start ups. Innovating for Growth – Phase 1 was completed in December 2015. Innovating for Growth - Phase 2 started in May 2016 and a project extension is due to start service delivery in October 2019, subject to final funding approval. The ‘Innovating for Growth - Scale-ups’ programme aims to use the Centre’s unique resources and expertise to help high-growth businesses scale up, through developing new products and services and entering new markets.
