Tender description

The purpose of the service is to deliver effective rehabilitation and recovery to people whose needs cannot be met by less intensive mainstream adult mental health services. The service provider will be expected to source suitable accommodation and enter into an appropriate agreement and arrangements with the landlord if necessary. The purpose of the service is to deliver effective rehabilitation and recovery to people whose needs cannot be met by less intensive mainstream adult mental health services. The aim is to promote personal recovery for people with severe and complex mental health problems who are or would otherwise be high users of in-patient and community services. These will be people recovering from significant mental health problems with a high level of social care need, who require intensive skills development and support to increase their level of independence and prevent the need for a more intensive level of support or supervision in the future, provided in a safe, staffed environment. This support is above that which might be provided to individuals through a personal budget.
