Tender description

The Authority intends to commission short term supported accommodation refuge services for people fleeing domestic abuse. The tender can be found on the authority's oracle sourcing portal under the RFQ Number: 15227703 Amended versions of the tender are denoted at the end of the RFQ Number by a comma followed by an amendment number. Search results will display any and all amended versions of the tender. The latest version is determined as being the RFQ Number with the highest amendment number. You may only make a submission against the latest amendment. Where you have made a submission against a tender that is subsequently amended you will be required to resubmit prior to the submission deadline. The refuge service is a short term accommodation based service that can be accessed in an emergency by women or women with families/children who have experienced, or are at risk of, domestic abuse and/or harassment and require a safe environment. This may be either as respite while they decide what to do, or because they need a place of safety while they take action to deal with their experiences. Initially the intention is that the service will be refuge provision for women. However a longer term objective is that the successful tenderer will increasingly develop an appropriate level and type of refuge provision for men affected by domestic abuse as and when resources become available. There is provision within the service specification for the service provider to make changes to service delivery during the contract term.
