Essex County Council are currently considering options for the delivery of the fostering and adoption medical advisory service from April 2020. This is a statutory service which ensures the provision by appropriate health providers of the duties and responsibilities outlined in “The model job descriptions and competences for medical advisors in adoption and fostering” published by BAAF (British Association for Adoption and Fostering) October 2008 and the Guidance to both the Fostering and Adoption Regulations. We would like to take this opportunity to invite you to a market engagement session in order to set out our intentions and explore potential delivery models with providers. ECC therefore, invites you to a market event on Thursday 28th March 2:30 p.m.-4:30 p.m. in Chelmsford, venue to be confirmed.
