Tender description

Network Rail (NR) intends to use a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) as a non-exclusive sourcing vehicle for apprenticeship delivery services. The DPS shall operate with 5 categories: — leadership and management, — business and administration, — transport and engineering operations, — engineering, and digital, IT and information. Each category contains 4 sub-categories: — apprenticeship standards, — delivery method, — cohort type, and — start date. The DPS will operate for an initial term of 5 years (60 months) with an option to extend the term for a further 2 years (24 months) on either a 12 month + 12 month basis or a consecutive 24 month basis. Providers may apply to join the DPS at any point over the duration of the DPS. The DPS will operate as a multi-stage process. Providers meeting the selection criteria for the DPS and its categories and sub-categories will be invited to further competition(s) in accordance with the categories and sub-categories they are admitted to. This category is concerned with the provision of apprenticeship delivery and training that meets the requirements of the apprenticeship standards in the leadership and management area. Standards in this category will be focused around leadership, management, risk and safety. Sub-categories include apprenticeship standards, delivery method, cohort type, and start date. There shall be no limit on the number of providers admitted to this category.
