The Department now requires the immediate provision of e-discovery services to assist the Departments requirements for an ongoing discovery. The Department has undertaken certain preparatory work as part of its e-discovery requirements. The Department has identified and collected the relevant Electronically Stored Information (“ESI”) and has also scanned in any paper files. The services include the provision of a managed electronic discovery platform and associated support services which will be required to organise, process, search, facilitate review, redact, tag and produce schedules for these ESI documents. The Department requires a solution that will enable it to review and manage the e-discovery documents in a coherent, flexible and logical manner. The electronic discovery platform can be hosted or on premise. It requires a secure environment, hosted within the Irish State, with restricted levels of access for specified project managers, review teams and support teams only.
