Tender description

Leidos has a future requirement for the supply of 2 distinct types of Runway De-Icing fluid: a Potassium Acetate based Runway De-Icer for the majority of UK bases and a Glycol based Runway De-Icer bases which endure inclement conditions routinely. Contracts are likely to commence July 2019 for a duration of 2 years with 2 further option years (ie 2 + 1 + 1). Leidos has a future requirement for 2 distinct types of Runway De-Icing fluid: A Potassium Acetate based Runway De-icer for the majority of UK Bases and a Glycol based Runway De-Icer for bases which endure inclement conditions routinely. Products will be direct delivery to MOD end customers in the UK with overseas requirements delivered to the MOD Purple Gate at Bicester. Suppliers must obtain the Aviation Manufacturing Standard (AMS) 1435D as a pre-requisite. During the tender evaluation stage, documentation will need to be provided to prove that the product meets this standard. Details of these 2 products can be provided on request by email using the point of contact within this notice. MOD requires us to provide these products at this time as these have been confirmed for use. If a supplier wishes to propose an alternative product Leidos are happy to discuss but tenders will not be accepted against alternative products.
