Tender description

The Scottish Prison Service (SPS) is looking for a supplier of timber in varying types, lengths and sizes, for use in manufacture of goods for retail through SPS Industries. The SPS has commenced this OJEU procurement process in good faith and with the intention of awarding a contract. Following publication of the Contract Notice, an Invitation to Tender (ITT) incorporating the European Single Procurement Document will be published by the SPS on PCS-Tender and will be made available to bidders. Tender responses shall then be evaluated in accordance with the ITT. Tender responses shall be evaluated in accordance with the ITT. The types of Timber required are, in various sizes: — redwood 5th, redwood unsorted and special cut redwood, — whitewood sawfallen, unsorted, unseasoned and kiln-dried. There is also a requirement for door braces, floor runners, weatherboards and flooring, in various sizes. The timber will be delivered to various SPS establishments throughout Scotland. More detail will be available in the released ITT.
