The purchaser requires a capable supplier to provide suitable materials to be used for the production of clothing and bedding at the purchaser's textile workshops. The purchaser requires a capable supplier to provide suitable materials to be used for the production of clothing and bedding. Provision of these materials will help ensure a safer environment for high risk individuals within the purchaser’s estate, as well as providing those in its care with a purposeful activity through gaining skills in manufacturing of clothing and bedding, supporting reintegration back into society upon release. Upon being supplied, the goods will be used by the purchaser's staff to manufacture clothing and bedding at its textile workshops. Whilst the full specification is included within the Invitation to Tender documentation on Public Contracts Scotland-Tender, the purchaser requires the goods to be of warp knit fabric with a composition that is 100 % polyester.
