Job title: 2x Solicitor Hours: 37 hours Start date: asap End date: 3 months from start date Rate of Pay: Band H £39,961- £44,697 but agencies can advise what the candidates would be looking for on a ltd company basis Contract type: Agency Location: Oldbury Council House, Freeth Street, Oldbury, B69 3DB Job Description and Personnel Specification attached, which also provides more information about the role. 2x Solicitors are required to start asap and work for a period of 12 weeks. The role will be based at Oldbury Council House, Freeth Street, Oldbury, B69 3DE. We require one Solicitor to cover civil and housing law and need someone else with general litigation and education law experience We are looking for candidates who have the following experience: Qualified Solicitor/Barrister/Fellow of CILEx of at least 5 years Experience in Education Law within a Local Authority Experience in General Civil Litigation within a Local Authority Advocacy Experience in Courts and Tribunals General knowledge of Local Government law. Experience of providing advice to internal and external clients Ability to undertake workload with minimal supervision. Local authority experience required.
