During week commencing 11th March, United Utilities will be beginning a procurement process to win a place in the second United Utilities Innovation Lab. The first Innovation Lab process ran from Feb 18 to May 18. The procurement process will follow the Innovation Partnership procedure and is intended to encourage innovative businesses to help United Utilities tackle key efficiency, safety and customer challenges in innovative ways. Businesses will be invited to put forward proposals in the following key areas: — Connected Customers, — Right information, right place, right time, — Empowered Colleagues, — Future of Water. All proposals must be in line with our business principles and there is the potential for the Best ideas to lead to contractual agreements for the purchase of the goods or services that have been developed together.
