Tender description

1.2. The Managed Print Service Council vision is as follows: • To drive a substantial reduction in the quantity of printing undertaken by the Council • To drive a substantial reduction in the cost of printing per page or image across the Council fleet • To drive a substantial reduction in the Council printers and multi-functional devices (MFDs) • To enable a hybrid outbound mail service as phase two, following a success rollout of new printing fleet across the Council • To provide a very reliable, secure and flexible printing (and hybrid mail) service that meets the changing needs of the Council in respect of both printing and scanning solutions • To have a service that is holistic, with a single supplier being accountable for the complete solution, without requiring Council staff to undertake any supply or maintenance functions
