Tender description

The Defence General Munitions Project Team (DGM PT) is seeking to establish an enabling partnering arrangement to store, process, manage, refurbish and dispose of ammunition containers, their component parts and both internal and external packaging. The duration of which would be for a minimum of 5 years and a maximum of 10 years. This will involve the annual recycling of a large quantity of (approximately 200 000 to 350 000) assorted ammunition containers to predefined standards which includes processing of returned containers, storing, cleaning, repair, repainting, testing, receipting and issuing. The refurbishment procedure will also involve the sifting and review of component parts to maximise stock recycling.
