Tender description

Establishment of a framework that will allow for the delivery of bespoke market research services to fit the needs of the FCA and other regulatory bodies. Typically 1,000 to 5,000 (rarely higher) sample surveys, often using customer lists from regulated firms or agency-supplied (internet Panel sourced) lists. Would suit medium-large agencies with demonstrable CATI, CAWI and CAPI resources, who must be GDPR and cyber security compliant. Looking to award a maximum of 6 agencies to this Lot. The FCA would wish to buy into programs of consumer research offered by suppliers, including CAPI (main likely focus), CAWI (using internet panel resources, but must be on-going not bespoke) or CATI. Would only suit a limited number of relatively large suppliers who have a proven track-record of on-going multi-client research studies (weekly, monthly or quarterly). Looking to award a maximum of 4 agencies to this Lot. Bespoke qualitative research, utilising depth interviews, focus groups, workshops. F2F or telephone. Unlikely to be internet-based. Could encompass deliberative but not co-creation. Would not include semiotics or ethnographic approaches, but may move towards to Fintech / Regtech and AI. Looking to award a maximum of 10 agencies to this Lot. Larger scale technical financial (not retail assessment) programmes of regulatory compliance checking. Would suit specialist established providers with extensive resources of remote shoppers. Looking to award a maximum of 3 agencies to this Lot. This lot is for established providers of syndicated (solus) research data and reports, typically provided through a research-based subscription (via a multi-year and/or multi-client services basis). Looking to award between 3-4 providers to this Lot. This lot is designed for sole traders and small consultancies, ideally EFAMRO members, providing specialist advisory, management and project support services (for example statistical advice, report-writing, sampling and design expertise; resource augmentation). Looking to award a maximum of 6 providers to this Lot, one of whom should be capable of providing specialist statistical advice.
