Tender description

National Grid are planning to put in place a new long-term agreement with a panel of multiple firms which will provide unparalleled business driven legal services and advice to ensure sustainable success for our business ventures. Our vision is to transform the way we procure legal services-we want to be more innovative and cost effective. The framework agreement will seek legal advice for energy and regulation, competition law, property and planning, commercials, disputes, trademark and patent services, construction, corporate, health, safety, environment and employment. This list is not exhaustive. National Grid use Achilles Utilities Vendor Database (UVDB) for publishing contract notices. The tender is currently being prepared and is scheduled to be published on Achilles at the end of March 2019 (subject to internal governance). Suppliers willing to express an interest in the tender event will be required to be registered on Achilles UVDB under the legal services code 2.3.16. More information about lots will be provided in the tender stage.
