Tender description

Surrey County Council are undertaking a procurement to identify providers for specialist assessments that will be used to help inform decision making in regards to the safeguarding of children. The assessments typically take place before going to court, during care preceding’s or are ordered by the Court. Successful applicants on the DPS will be eligible to carry out assessments for Surrey County Council to inform decision making in regards to the safeguarding of children. Lot 1A: Assessments completed by Independent Social Workers (ISWs) Expert witnesses are required to provide high quality, evidence based assessments and reports for children, adolescents and adults to help inform child protection and care planning decision-making. Lot 1B: Assessments completed by Psychologists Experts are required to provide high quality, evidence based assessments and reports for children, adolescents and adults to help inform child protection and care planning decision-making. Lot 1C: Assessments completed by Psychiatrists Experts are required to provide high quality, evidence based assessments and reports for children, adolescents and adults to help inform child protection and care planning decision-making. Lot 1D: Assessments completed by all other experts Experts are required to provide high quality, evidence based assessments and reports for children, adolescents and adults to help inform child protection and care planning decision-making. Lot 2: Special Guardianship Order (SGO) Assessments Qualified Social Workers are required to undertake high quality, evidence-based Special Guardianship Order (SGO) Assessments on behalf of Surrey, in locations across the United Kingdom (England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland).
