Tender description

Tender for the provision of a nurse led haemodialysis and facilities management service at a satellite renal site. The service provider will be required to provide the following core services: — provide a nurse led haemodialysis service for chronic patients, — provide a local point of contact for the patients, — provide induction and continued education for patients undergoing haemodialysis treatment within the unit for end stage renal failure, — provide information and publicity for the promotion of kidney donors in liaison with the Trust, — liaise with the local and national Kidney Patients Association, — provide all linen and cleaning materials necessary for the proper provision of the dialysis service, — the provider shall arrange for the provision of catering and housekeeping services in accordance with the requirements specified in this schedule, — the provider shall ensure that the services are provided in such way as to ensure that the Renal Unit is operational and open for the Trust’s patients on such days of the week and during such hours of each day as shall be agreed between the Trust and the provider as being necessary to provide the number of treatments required, — the provider shall make such arrangements for the disposal and incineration of non clinical waste arising from its provision of the services.
