Tender description

Sheffield city council is looking to seek quotations for five automatic counters that count cyclists. The cycle counters should count all cyclists that pass these counters. These counters do not need to count pedestrians however if they do then this is a bonus. The cycle counters can be solar or battery powered and batteries must have a guaranteed life of two years minimum. Counters must be able to count cyclists in a live carriageway while ignoring motorised vehicles.
