Tender description

Lliswerry High School's current contract for cleaning services is due to expire July 2019 and invites experienced providers to bid for the new service that is to commence August 2019 for a 4-year period with a possible extension of 1 year. The school comprises 1 site and the commission will be to provide a complete cleaning solution to the school, primarily focused on day to day cleaning during term time but with additional project cleaning to be carried out to locally agreed requirements during school holidays. The commission allows for cleaning services at both the start of the day and at the end of the school day with a deliverable cleaning solution being provided in line with resource commitments and outline budget. Cleaning of 3 storey school buildings and associated works including all necessary cleaning equipment and materials by a single contractor. The school’s requirement for cleaning will be as follows: — daily cleaning (Monday to Friday) is required during term time between hours of 03:15 pm and 06:45 pm, 06:45 am and 08:45 am, — deep cleaning/periodic cleaning during school holiday periods between the hours of 09:00 am and 03:00 pm. Enhanced CRB checks for all staff is a requirement. TUPE will apply and this information will be made available to organisations selected to the award stage (ITT) of the tender process.
