Tender description

The London Borough of Bromley contains the largest number of street and park trees, and is also home to two thirds of London’s woodlands. Much of the woodlands reside in the Borough’s 552 hectares of woodland and conservation sites. The Council aims to ensure trees are planted, preserved and managed in accordance with good arboricultural practice, with regard to their contribution to amenity and the urban landscape, for both current and future generations. The Council invited tenders from Arboricultural organisations who are an Arboricultural Approved Contractor with the Arboricultural Association. The service is governed by the Council's values and objectives and Tree Risk Management Strategy and in accordance with the Council's arboricultural legal responsibilities.
