5- 046 Area 10 Specialist Procurement Support

Tender description

The Procurement Department require the assistance of a procurement management professional to assist in the day to day running of various activities highlighted above within the department including but not limited to Area 10 tender process to successful appointment, assisting the management of all fleet related activities, assisting in the management of the Historical Railway Estate portfolio, renewal options for Severn Bridge 7 works, implementation of weather forecasting providers and mentoring/ training of the team. The appointment will enable the Highways England Area 10 Asset Delivery (AD) teams to appoint successful partners as well as the support the Procurement teams in Birmingham with the implementation of the other procurement activities. The appointment will enable the targets of completing the above mentioned activities to be completed with current staffing levels. The strategy for procuring tender support is via secondary competition through the Specialist Professional and Technical Services (SPaTS) Framework Lot 5 Procurement Advice.
