What technologies have the existing services been developed using? The services have been built in Ruby on Rails. 2. Can you provide a high level idea of the scope of private beta so far, and has it been tested? "MSPSDS provides UK regulators with a way to create, share and alert each other about serious product safety issues. This includes forms to submit data, account management, case management and email alerting. Cosmetics allows businesses to submit information on products they sell in the UK. Poison Centres to view this information and Trading Standards to see some of the information. Both services have had user, performance and security testing. " 3. Are there established CI/CD processes in place or would it be a requirement to set these up? CI/CD already exists for the services. 4. What roles specifically are you looking to replace? We are primarily looking for developers to continue to support and develop the service. 5. Is there a current incumbent and if so will they be reapplying? The incumbent supplier is Softwire Ltd. We are unaware of the previous supplier's intention to bid for this work. This opportunity is open to all suppliers on the Digital Outcomes and Specialists 3 framework agreement. 6. Who will be the senior responsible owner? The SRO will be the Deputy Director for Strategy and Resourcing in OPSS. 7. Who is the current incumbent providing the service? The incumbent supplier is Softwire Ltd. 8. Is support restricted to office hours, or will wider coverage than this be required? Our assumption is that we will require Monday-Friday business hours between 08.00-18.00. However, we are interested in learning about proposals for supporting the service outside of these hours. 9. Will your product manager(s) be responsible for delivery management or would you expect this to be covered by the supplier? We are planning to recruit a dedicated delivery manager to help support the product manager. We are not expecting the supplier to provide this.
