Provision of Travel Meetings and Event Management Services UK Power Networks has been engaging with a Travel Management Company for number of years (via tendering process). The business did not anticipate changing the current delivery model; however, it was keen to understand the market offerings and potential improvement to the current delivery model as follows: Online self-booking tool with, rail, air, hotel, vehicle rental, taxi services bookings, offline services, emergency service (out of hours), travel tracking, VIP services, visa and advisory services, events meetings and conference services, refund services and full account management. Part of the service provider’s responsibility is to settle the accounts with 3rd Parties and then bill back UK Power Networks on a monthly basis using a consolidated invoicing methodology. UK Power Networks uses this data to recharge the business and advise cost center owners of spend in their area.
