Tender description

Rutland County Council has received Gate A assurance for its bid to BDUK for grant funding to deliver 1 GB capable full fibre networks to a number of public sector assets across the county. Rutland County Council Digital Rutland Local Full Fibre Networks Project is a third wave exemplar project for the Full Fibre Network Programme (LFFN) operated by the Broadband Development UK (BDUK) programme within the Department for Digital, Media, Culture and Sport (DCMS) and this procurement is part funded by DCMS. The Council would like to engage potential providers by hosting a Market Engagement Event on 26th and 27th February. This event is designed to provide further information on the Council's intentions and discuss with potential providers the plans and requirements in order to shape and finalise the specification. Interested parties should contact Libby Kingsley for the PIN Briefing Document and to book an appointment at the Market Engagement Event. Please note that appointments will be available on a first come first served basis and the 27th February will only be available should the 26th February become fully booked.
