Tender description

Ceredigion County Council invites applications from organisations who wish to provide domiciliary care services and/or supported living services within the County. The Council intends to operate a dynamic purchasing system populated with the successful applicants, and use this for further competition exercises based on service provision requirements, and price. Service providers are invited to complete a PQQ to ascertain their eligibility to provide supported living or domiciliary care services within the county of Ceredigion. The mechanism being used for this tender is a dynamic purchasing system, from herein referred to as a DPS. The DPS shall be operated as a completely electronic process, and shall be open throughout the period of validity of the purchasing system to any economic operator that satisfies the selection criteria. All communications in the context of this DPS shall only be made by electronic means using the messaging system in this etender. This DPS covers three types of service as follows: 1) Supported living services; 2) Community domiciliary care services, where packages may not have a prescribed time limit and could include high or complex care needs; 3) Low level, time limited domiciliary care services for up to 6 weeks. This can include a sitting service, prompting for medications, etc. Bidders may bid for all 3 types within a single tender. The pricing for service types 2 and 3 are fixed for the first year, and will be reviewed in line with the contract schedule. For providers wishing to bid for type 1, a cost will need to be submitted using the cost sheet, which will be clarified.
