Gas Networks Ireland (GNI) intends to run a competitive procurement process for the provision of 24/7 Maintenance Services for all CNG units, located at various locations in Ireland. As part of this process GNI wishes to take market soundings from interested parties to identify capabilities, service cost factor(s) and general market dynamics. Gas Networks Ireland (GNI) intends to run a competitive procurement process for the provision of 24/7 Maintenance Services for all CNG units, located at various locations in Ireland. As part of this process GNI wishes to take market soundings from interested Parties to identify capabilities, service cost factor(s) and general market dynamics. GNI requires a single supplier agreement to provide 24/7 maintenance services in accordance with all relevant gas industry/statutory regulations including, but not limited, to ISO16923. GNI will undertake a tender to procure CNG maintenance services from an EU based engineering service provider. The CNG fleet currently consists of three designs and will expand from a total of 3 units Q1 2019 increasing to 17 in 2020 (during contract commencement), with the expectation of 68 high capacity units being operated by 2023. The maintenance service will be contracted for a three year period (plus a 2 year option) and the scope of that service is as follows: (i) provision of routine scheduled maintenance on all CNG units (weekly, monthly, six monthly, annual, including statutory inspections such as PSR/ATEX, etc.); (ii) requirement for adhoc/unscheduled services on an as needs basis, e.g. unscheduled call-outs, providing within day call-out response (attend-to-site) and resolution of unexpected failures; (iii) supply of replacement parts/components; (iv) mobilisation of personnel and required equipment and materials to site within 3 hours.
