Lincolnshire County Council wish to engage with key stakeholders regarding the delivery of services for Lincolnshire Care Leavers from April 2020. During the day we aim to cover a number of keys areas, seeking to identify areas of current good practice as well as areas where there are challenges around service delivery. We want to capture as much feedback as possible to help us shape our delivery plan for care leavers from April 2020, which is when the current Lincolnshire Leaving Care Service commissioning arrangements end. See full description below. Lincolnshire County Council stakeholder event: Services for Lincolnshire Care Leavers from April 2020. Friday 8.3.2019. The Showroom, Tritton Road, Lincoln, LN6 7QY 10:00 a.m. — 3:30 p.m. Lincolnshire County Council wish to engage with key stakeholders regarding the delivery of services for Lincolnshire Care Leavers from April 2020. During the day we aim to cover a number of keys areas, seeking to identify areas of current good practice as well as areas where there are challenges around service delivery. We want to capture as much feedback as possible to help us shape our delivery plan for care leavers from April 2020, which is when the current Lincolnshire Leaving Care Service commissioning arrangements end. The key areas will be: — Education, Employment and Training (EET), — suitable accommodation options, — relationships and key transition points in to and out of leaving care services, — identity and resilience. We wish to encourage a wide range of stakeholders to attend, including services that offer leaving care support, health and education providers, as well as wider support services. The agenda will be finalised and sent to delegates following engagement work we are currently undertaking with care leavers about their experiences of leaving care and various services, and which will help to inform the table discussions on the day. Spaces are limited to 1-2 attendees per organisation, with priority given to organisations delivering or interested in delivering leaving care services. The event will be held at The Showroom on Friday 8.3.2019 in Lincoln (LN6 7QY) from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Lunch and refreshments will be provided. There is plenty of free parking onsite.
