Tender description

Provision of direct access diagnostic imaging services, for a range of different modalities of diagnostic imaging including MRI and non-obstetric ultrasound to a number of Clinical Commissioning Groups based in North West London. Full details of the requirement may be found in the procurement documentation. Six of the North West London Clinical Commissioning Groups (NWL CCGs) — Central London, Brent, Ealing, Hammersmith and Fulham, Harrow, and West — are seeking to put in place a new contract for community diagnostic imaging services to replace the existing contract arrangements which are due to expire later this year. Current intentions are to commence a process to award a new contract from April 2019 for new services to commence from October 2019. It is anticipated that this will involve a 3 to 5 year contract covering a range of different modalities of diagnostic imaging including Magnetic Resonance, Ultrasound, X-Ray, Radiology Reporting Only, Endoscopy, 24 Hr Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring, Ambulatory Electrocardiogram (ECG), Electrocardiogram, Echocardiography, Phlebotomy, Audiology, Dual Energy X-Ray Absorptiometry (DEXA). This PIN is part of a Market Engagement process being undertaken by the CCGs seeking expressions of interest from suitably experienced and capable providers in the provision of a Community Diagnostic Imagining Service for patients across North West London.
