This is a call for proposals. Details on the requirement are set out in the procurement document associated with this notice. This is a call for proposals Due to increased demand on our national cervical screening programme in the Republic of Ireland resulting in a cytology backlog, we have a significant liquid based cytology requirement to sustain our national cervical screening programme in 2019. We are aware that many countries are under pressure for cytology services due to the impending arrival of HPV primary screening. We are also aware that as some countries and providers move to HPV primary screening that cytology resource may become available. As a result, we are inviting any interested supplier (both public sector and private sector) to engage with us to discuss their available capacity to support the national cervical screening programme in Ireland by providing liquid based cytology services. Any supplier interested in negotiating an arrangement to provide liquid based cytology services should complete the short CFC form associated with this notice We estimate the quantity to be delivered is up to 130 000 during 2019. This demand may be shared across multiple suppliers. Terms and conditions of service provision will be negotiated and agreed with suppliers.
