Tender description

The London Borough of Havering will be re-commissioning Health Visiting and School Nursing services (the 0-19 Healthy Child Programme), as communicated in May 2018. From April 2020, the Authority will start a new contract for these services. The Health Visiting (0-5) service provides specialist community Public Health nurses and teams who provide expert information, assessments and interventions for babies, children and families. The School Nursing (5-19) service promotes public health to children, young people and their families, support schools, colleges, and pupil referral units to identify and respond to the health needs of their populations, and work with partners and stakeholders to achieve the best outcomes for all children and young people in Havering. We would like to hear from providers interested in delivering these services. A market warming event will be held in March 2019. From 1.4.2020, the London Borough of Havering intend to contract a 0-19 Healthy Child Programme delivering Health Visiting for 0-5 years old and School Nursing for 5-19 year olds in Havering. The successful provider will be required to: — provide a Health Visiting service for 0-5 year olds in Havering, — provide a School Nursing service for 5-19 years old in Havering.
