Tower Hamlets Council is seeking to commission, on behalf of the CCG and council, a tier 3 weight management service that achieves optimum weight loss outcomes through face to face and digital interventions for our local population. The service will have a wide reach into the community, establish a user-friendly referral pathway and engage and motivate clients to ensure maximum retention rate. Clients will be offered one year multi-component weight management programme. Service primary outcomes will be providing a safe and effective weight loss with a focus on long term diet and exercise behavioral changes that achieves: • At least 60% of starters complete 75% of the programme at 3 months • At least 3% of initial weight being lost at 6 months • At least 5% of initial weight being lost at 12 months Return of tenders date: 14th January 2019 at 12 noon Initial Contract Duration: 3 years Extensions: 2 years Estimated Contract Value (including extensions): Indicative value: £1,040,000 The London Borough of Tower Hamlets (LBTH) is seeking expressions of interest from interested organisations for the above services and / or goods.
