Tender description

The EPA is responsible for the implementation of all Irish and EU ambient air quality legislation and is currently establishing a new national ambient air quality monitoring programme which will strengthen the capacity of the network to provide comprehensive air quality and public health information at both national and local levels. The EPA is also the National Reference Laboratory (NRL) for ambient air monitoring for Ireland, manages the ambient air quality monitoring network and is responsible for all reporting to stakeholders — which include the public and the EU. The National Ambient Air Monitoring Programme invites tenders for the provision and installation of weatherproof enclosures (fixed mounted and mobile trailer) for housing instrumentation used to measure ambient air quality. 1) Housing a Palas Fidas 200 PM monitor (or equivalent) + 1 inorganic gas analysers (e.g. Envirotechnology T200 NOx or equivalent) with 1 associated 10 L gas cylinders. The enclosure will be permanently mounted on a plinth or level and stable ground surface. 2) Housing a Palas Fidas 200 PM Monitor (or equivalent) + 2 inorganic gas analysers (e.g. Envirotechnology T200 NOx or equivalent) with 2 associated 10 L gas cylinders. The enclosure will be permanently mounted on a plinth or level and stable ground surface. 3) Housing a Palas Fidas 200 PM Monitor (or equivalent) + 3 inorganic gas analysers (e.g. Envirotechnology T200 NOx or equivalent) with 3 associated 10 L gas cylinders. Non-walk in type enclosure. Enclosure permanently mounted on a plinth or level and stable ground surface. 4) Housing a Palas Fidas 200 PM Monitor (or equivalent) + 3 inorganic gas analysers (e.g. Envirotechnology T200 NOx or equivalent) with 3 associated 10 L gas cylinders. Walk in type enclosure. Enclosure permanently mounted on a plinth or level and stable ground surface. 5) Housing a Palas Fidas 200 PM Monitor (or equivalent) + 3 gas analysers (e.g. Envirotechnology T200 NOx or equivalent) with associated 10 L gas cylinders. Mobile trailer. Trailer enclosure mounted on level and stable ground surface.
