The Open University (OU) would like to hear from suppliers about their approach to the provision of courier services in the UK to: — gauge the likely level of interest in the project from the market, — explore a variety of terms and conditions used in the marketplace, — determine industry standards for terms and conditions and scope the terms for any future procurement opportunity. Suppliers that would like to express interest in this pre-market engagement exercise must do so on In-Tend, details in Communication above. Suppliers should also send their Terms and Conditions by not later than 17:00 on 22.2.2019 via Correspondence function. This Prior Information Notice (PIN) is not a call for competition, for the purposes of Regulation 26(9) of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. The Open University (OU) is considering a provision of domestic (UK) courier service. The requirement is likely to include a delivery of tracked parcels containing academic learning materials to students. The distribution network would cover the United Kingdom and offshore islands including Guernsey. The other Channel Islands and countries would be excluded from the agreement.
