Tender description

Gateshead Council (the Council) intends to replace the software currently used for processing BACS transactions. The Council currently uses an on-site hosted product and would like to move to cloud based BACS Approved Software, covering the areas of: 1. BACSTEL-IP 2. Bureaux 3. Hardware Security Module (HSM) 4. Faster Payments 5. Hosted Service The Council processes more than one million BACS transactions annually and is a BACS Approved Bureau. The bureau operation supports 18 academy schools. The system is required for the bureau operation plus 8 Service User Numbers (SUNs) held and operated by the Council and associated bodies, including the Gateshead Housing Company. It will allow a minimum of 4 concurrent users from a pool of 20 users. Keywords: BACS, Finance, Software
