BBC Children in Need - Web Donation Platform and Web Portal for Call Centres

The provision of Standalone Web Payment Platform, and a Web Portal for Call Centre Payments to BBC Children in Need (“BBC CiN”) Registered Charity no. 802052 in England and Wales, and SC039557 in Scotland, The requirement is divided into 2 (two) Lots BBC CiN are considering bids to provide the requirements for a single Lot, or bids to provide the requirements for both Lots Lot 1 - Standalone Web Payment Platform : BBC CiN require a Supplier to develop and host a standalone web payment platform / system which will receive payments from Credit or Debit Card payments, or PayPal accounts (at a minimum), for BBC CiN. Lot 2 - Web Portal for Call Centre Payments: BBC CiN require a Supplier to develop and host a Web portal for call centres to take payments which will allow call centre agents to process donations from people who call to make Credit or Debit Card payments, for BBC CiN. BBC Children in Need annual Appeal is currently scheduled for broadcast from 19:00 (UK Time) Friday 15th November 2019, and will run until – 01:00 (UK Time) Saturday 16th November 2019 Both platforms will be live throughout the year, with the main promotion during the Appeal Night of TV, which drives tens of thousands of donations through the page on the Friday and the following weekend, in a pattern of peaks and troughs relative to the broadcast content. The platforms receive additional promotion on special programmes outside of the main Appeal Show (such as The One Show Rickshaw Challenge, Countryfile Ramble, etc.) which require continual monitoring. The Supplier(s) will make available appropriate staff for set-up, testing, technical support, responding to CiN queries, post-show reviews, and any other assistance that is required. The services for both Lot 1 and Lot 2 will go live on 1st June 2019, and remain live until 30th June 2020, with the potential to be extended the services of either Lot up to 24 (twenty-four) months
