Tender description

The Health and Social Care Board (HSCB) wishes to explore the market for domiciliary care monitoring systems.Further details can be found in the Request for Information (RFI) document. Interested suppliers should return a completed questionnaire and pricing template included within the RFI available at: http://etendersni.gov.uk/epps Suppliers must be registered on etendersni to download the RFI – see ii.2.14) below. The reference number for this project is 2041915. This is a market engagement exercise exploring the availability of domiciliary care monitoring systems. The outline requirements of such a system include the following: Call/visit monitoring: Enable Trusts to capture and monitor actual visit arrival and departure times. Enable Trusts to record and provide notification of missed and late visits. Enable Trusts to receive alarms on missed/late calls on set tolerances. Enable Trusts to receive late arrival/departure alerts. Allow Trusts to undertake verification of commissioned visit times/duration against the services actually delivered. Allow Trusts to assure delivery of Domiciliary Care Plans. Interfaces and Information inputs/outputs: Accept inputs from existing HSC/Trust systems, or manual information inputs, in relation to schedules and rotas. Interface with HSC Finance systems and/or output service delivery data in a standard business format that can be accepted by HSC Trusts. Travel expense claims: Enable Trusts to record all vehicle travel by in-house Trust staff and calculate mileage due. Allow Trusts’ Finance systems to receive this information in a standard business format. Business intelligence/management information: Enable Trusts to record key information on service delivery and performance against KPIs. Allow Trusts to review standard KPI reports at regional, Trust and provider levels. Enable Trusts to generate bespoke KPI reports and ad-hoc reports. Other considerations: Enable secure access by all Trusts in compliance with all HSC security requirements. Be enabled for use by a mobile workforce. Be user friendly for home care workers. Be unobtrusive to service users. Assist Trusts in addressing lone worker concerns with regard to home care workers.
