Transport for London has 240 escalators mechanically maintained by both Direct Labour Organisations (DLOs). With 19 different types of escalator design. Each with their own type of fabricated escalator step. The Authority is seeking participants to a possible competition that may take place later this year. We are seeking technically skilled metal fabricators that have the ability to reproduce precise and quality fabricated escalator steps to be used across London Underground.
