RLBUHT requires a fully comprehensive services contract to manage the repairs and maintenance of more than 120 scopes in a large endoscopy unit that performs more than 22 000 diagnostic and therapeutic procedures per annum. RLBUHT also manages the scopes for ENT and Urology services. RLBUHT is looking to go to tender in the near future to seek opportunities in relation to the provision of services for endoscopic equipement maintenance and support. A potential future contract will be meant to be available to all NHS trusts which are part of Cheshire and Merseyside Health and Care Partnership, should these need to access it. RLBUHT also manages the scopes for ENT and Urology services. We have a fleet of scopes ranging from 2 — over 7 years old including Olympus 290 series and 260 series and this includes the following:- — Upper and lower GI Gastroscopes and Colonoscopes, — Urological Scopes such as flexible Cystoscopies and Uteroscopes, — Invasive Sterilised Choledocoscopes for invasive procedures, — ENT Scopes, Bronchoscopes and emergency laryngoscopes, — Wide Channel, Twin, Sigmoid, Linear, EUS radial, TJF and SBE, — Upper and lower GI Gastroscopes and Colonoscopes, — Urological Scopes such as flexible Cystoscopies and Uteroscopes, — Invasive Sterilised Choledocoscopes for invasive procedures, — ENT Scopes, Bronchoscopes and emergency laryngoscopes, — Wide Channel, Twin, Sigmoid, Linear, EUS radial, TJF and SBE.
