Non-exclusive Framework Agreement for the supply to NHS Supply Chain depots via the Stock and Blue Diamond Routes and to the NHS Supply Chain customer base via the direct/e-direct route of procedure packs. A Procedure pack is defined as a bundle of single use medical consumables that are contained in a sterile package for use during a surgical or a medical procedure. These packs typically include, but shall not be limited to: drapes and gowns, swabs, blades, syringes, polyware, or any specific single use consumables a surgeon requires to perform the procedure. The specialist areas which these packs may be utilised in shall be but are not limited to: Cardio-vascular; Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT); general and abdominal surgery, including laparoscopy; obstetrics and gynaecology; Neurosurgery; Ophthalmology; orthopaedics; plastic surgery; urology; angiography; antiseptic skin preparation; catheterisation; haemodialysis; perfusion and IV therapy; regional anaesthesia; suturing and wound care packs. The packs can either be: (i) bespoke to a customer’s specific requirements or (ii) of a standard specification recognised across the NHS.
