Tender description

In order to support the efficient and effective conduct of the Fatal Accident Inquiry into the deaths of Gary Arthur and others, the Contracting Authority requires the provision of software and personnel to allow for the Sheriff Principal and Core Participant's legal representatives (as required) to benefit from access to real-time transcripts of evidence on screens within the facilities set aside for the Fatal Accident Inquiry, and to provide a fully edited transcription of each day's proceedings to form part of a permanent record of the inquiry. On 24.11.2017, Crown Counsel instructed the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service to hold a Fatal Accident Inquiry ("FAI") be held into the deaths of Gary Arthur and Others who lost their lives when a Police Scotland helicopter crashed onto the busy Clutha bar in Glasgow on 29.11.2013. The FAI will commence on 8.4.2019 at 10:00 a.m. and will take place at Hampden Park, Letherby Drive, Glasgow, G42 9BA.
