Invitation to Tender for Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance Contract at Kinsale Rd Landfill Site Cork

Tender description

Cork City Council operates the Kinsale Road Landfill Site in accordance with the conditions set out in the EPA Waste Licence W0012-03. Management of the site includes the requirement to control landfill gas, leachate and other potential environmental contaminants. This involves the use of a wide variety of mechanical and electrical plant. These items of plant have been maintained under contract and Cork City Council is proposing to engage the services of a suitably qualified Mechanical and Electrical Contractor to maintain all items of plant in relation to the leachate system for 3 years with the opportunity to extend this by a period not exceeding 18 months. Maintenance of gas associated equipment is not part of this brief. Mechanical & Electrical Plant currently on site is documented in the site asset register along with proposed new elements yet to be installed. Cork City Council requires the services of an experienced M&E contractor as outlined above. Please note that Cork City Council is not obliged to accept the lowest or any tender.
