The commissioner is seeking to engage with potential providers for a 12-month contract to provider MRI services on an Any Qualified Provider basis to cover the West Kent CCG Footprint. A local, direct access MRI service with staff qualified to appropriate levels of skill and experience, using equipment which complies with the guidance set by the Royal College of Radiologists, connection to NHS image exchange portal, usage of e-referrals service, robust performance management systems and stringent levels of clinical governance. Referrals will be accepted from clinicians based in general practice in NHS West Kent CCG area.
