Tender description

Norfolk County Council was seeking to procure a single provider to deliver services at Grays Fair Court for the following requirements: 1) Staffing for a short-term care unit with 20 beds providing up to 6 weeks of care for people aged 18 +leaving hospital or needing respite care; 2) Staffing for 34 housing with extra care flats for people aged 55+ with care provision available 24 hours, seven days a week including unplanned care needs; 3) Catering provision for all short stay clients and meals available to purchase for residents; 4) Provision of social activities. Grays Fair Court, Norwich is a purpose built integrated care facility. The landlord is Saffron Housing Trust and Norfolk County Council are the lease holder. Norfolk County Council were seeking a single provider for the following: 1) Staffing for a short-term care unit with 20 beds providing up to 6 weeks of care for people aged 18+ leaving hospital or needing respite care. The contract will be for 18 of those beds and the winning provider will be able to use 2 of the beds for private sale; 2) Staffing for 34 housing with extra care flats for people aged 55+ with care provision available 24 hours, seven days a week including unplanned care needs; 3) Catering provision for all short stay clients and meals available to purchase for residents; 4) Provision of social activities.
