Construction work for multi-dwelling buildings and individual houses

Tender description

This Notice advises that Glen Oaks HA intends to enter into a Design and Build Contract with AS Homes (Scotland) Ltd to complete 49 new affordable housing units. Construction is expected to commence in 2018 with completion in 2021. Glen Oaks HA, working in partnership with Glasgow City Council and the Scottish Government, is in the process of delivering new affordable housing in SW Glasgow. Glen Oaks HA has identified the site as being the only feasible location within its area of operation for the development of much needed social housing. Missives of Sale of the site have been concluded between AS Homes and the current owner. It is a condition of the sale of the site from AS Homes to Glen Oaks HA that a design and build contract is awarded to AS Homes to complete the development. The design and build contract can only be awarded to AS Homes as they have exclusive rights to the site and therefore Glen Oaks HA is using the negotiated procedure without prior publication of the Contract Notice.
